The Village Fête
Datchworth held its annual Village fête on 12th June 2010.

Maypole Dance at the fête, June 12, 2010
It's a traditional village activity drawing the community together and raising money. Organized and run by local people, it includes games, events, entertainments and stalls. The profits go to local charities.
The weather was fine and hundreds came along and had a great time. The total taking on the day came to over £13000.

The fête
Committee would like to extend a hearty
thank-you to all the stallholders who gave their time and enthusiasm to
make the day such a success.
