At the heart of our four rugby, two cricket and two (hard) tennis playing areas, we have a comfortable, centrally heated clubhouse in a beautiful location on the village green. For members over the age of 18 we have a reasonably priced licenced bar. Soft drinks, snacks and confectionary are also available and we have catering facilities for special events. As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club, we exist to provide sport and sport related training for all levels and age groups. Council Meetings

The Council normally meets at 7.30 pm on the third Monday of every month in Datchworth Village Hall. The Annual Parish Meeting is held between 1st April and 1st June. Agendas for these meetings are put on the Parish noticeboards and website. The notice boards are situated at Datchworth crossroads (near the Plough), All Saints Church and Burnham Green shop. Members of the public are welcome to attend Parish Council meetings and may address the meeting if invited do so by the Chairman. The present Council was elected in 2011 to serve for a period of four years.

Parish Magazine

The Parish Magazine ’All Saints’, is distributed monthly to subscribers and carries articles from the Church, Parish and District Councils, local people and organisations, together with details of forthcoming events. Items for publication in the following month’s issue, should reach the Editor not later than the 10th of the preceding month. The Magazine is available from the 1st of each month and can be delivered to your door or can be puchased at Datchworth Stores, Datchworth Post Office or the Church.

Village Fete

This event is held on Datchworth Green each year on the second Saturday in June. It is organised by a Fete Committee and the proceeds are shared between All Saint's Church, Datchworth Village Hall and other, local charities.

Datchworth Village Hall

This Village Hall Consists of a large hall (seating 250) with stage, a small hall (seating 60), a committee room, large kitchen, bar, toilets and car parking. Situated at the lower end of Datchworth Green, it was opened in 1972 and is run by a Management Committee consisting of members elected at the Annual Meeting and nominatedrepresentatives of the village organisations.
Casual hire for private functions, by individuals living within the Parish of Datchworth or by village organisations, under normal circumstances will be offered at a 20% discount off the current casual hiring rates.
